Suitable witnesses may include friends, neighbours or work associates.
If you are British Citizen and live overseas, you will need to have the signing of your Deed Poll witnessed by a notary public or Solicitor, however we would strongly suggest that you check with the consular services section of your country of residence’s Embassy or High Commission to ascertain what protocol should be followed.
